We hope you will find the apartment very comfortable and equipped with all you need for your stay. In the apartment you will find UK Satellite TV, Hi-Fi and free Internet access. There is street parking for those who come by car. The beaches and resorts are only 15 minutes drive. We will do a meet and greet service by arrangement from the airport. The entrance from the impressive bourgeois ‘Haussmann’ building leads up a short flight of steps to the glass double doors of the ‘Rez Chaussee’ apartment.. From the entrance hall there is access to the Lounge, Bedroom and Shower room. Spacious Lounge with double french windows, generous seating for relaxing, reading or watching the UK Satellite TV. Newly fitted light and airy Kitchen with double electric hob, fridge, table and chairs and all the things needed for a comfortable stay. Well appointed double bedroom, with antique French bed. Double French windows overlooking Ave Alphonse Mas Modern shower room with spacious thermostatic shower, wash basin and WC Surrounding Area The city of Beziers is located in the Hérault valley, overlooking the Orb and the Canal du Midi in a picturesque location in the largest vineyard in the world. Beziers is located 10 km from the Mediterranean Sea and 50 km from mountains of the Haut-Languedoc Béziers has a Mediterranean climate. Summers are very hot and very dry and winters mild.. Béziers is also perfectly situated for visiting the Haut Languedoc, a rugged and mountainous region stone villages and mountain streams. Although this is one of the smaller and poorer towns of the region, time here is rarely wasted and an amble through the old town, bordered on three sides by the Orb river and a canal, is extremely agreeable. Beziers boasts xixth century bourgeois neighborhoods with beautiful Haussman buildings built in the city center at the height of it's extreme wealth including the Rue de la Republic , Avenue Alphonse Mas, PLace de la Victoire , Blvd Paul Riquet and Avenue Georges Clemenceau. On the Blvd Paul Riquet are located Galeries Lafayette in a 1930's building, various cafes and many shops that line the long 600metre esplanade If you’re looking for somewhere a little different, Béziers is off most tourist agendas, is less well known, quieter and less expensive than its near neighbours, and if you’re looking for a taste of the real Languedoc, you could do well to spend some time here. This small city, with its stunning cathedral, and fabulous Canal du Midi, has a more peaceful charm, so that you can walk the historic streets without being crushed.It is oozing with history, and for a small provincial city has a surprising number of attractions, including parks and gardens, museums, art galleries, theatres, bars, and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine Béziers is also surrounded by some of the prettiest countryside in southern France, and is just a few miles from the Mediterranean coast and the numerous resorts and beaches making it a perfect base for holidays in the south of France.
